Welcome to Mikal' Faye!

Who can deny the beauty of Oregon, from the rustic wilderness of the high desert to the splendor of the Cascade mountain range through my home the scenic Columbia River Gorge all the way to the majestic Pacific, we have it all.

Although I am not a native Oregonian, I feel like it has always been in my blood and where I most belong.  I moved to the high desert of Central Oregon from North Dakota when I was in high school moving on to the Klamath Basin for my college years and then on to Corvallis in the Willamette Valley for a few years working at OSU.  I finally arrived in Portland in 2009 and moved to my favorite home of all , the Columbia River Gorge.

My Husband John and I found a small farm near the community of Corbett where we live with our 4 dogs, 8 cats, 4 goats and too many chickens to count. Most of my work does focus around the scenic area of my home but you will also find some other treasure around the state. I like to take the path less travel so I will be sharing places you will hopefully will find new and exciting. I am happy to share a piece of my art with you and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy exploring the nature around us.
